Donorly is seeking a full-time Project Manager to research, develop, write, and submit proposals, letters, reports and other materials necessary to secure grant support from private foundation and government funding sources for our non-profit clients.
Donorly is a consulting firm working with nonprofit organizations to improve fundraising results by refining individual and institutional solicitation processes, research practices, board development, and all aspects of fundraising.
Our office is located in the Times Square WeWork building, where we are active in the WeWork community.
Write well-researched grant proposals, applications, and supporting documents, persuasively communicating clients’ missions and programs to potential funders.
Collect data and relevant research for grants
Develop and maintain a grants calendar, working closely with Donorly consultants and clients to develop annual strategy
Coordinate and follow up on the progress of submitted proposals
Collaborate with Donorly research team to continuously identify new grants
Maintain company awareness of the state of the grants industry through conferences, seminars/webinars and training sessions
BACKGROUND, PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS
Ideal candidate has superior writing skills with a proven ability to develop successful grant proposals. They have a solid understanding of financial reports as they relate to proposals and grants. They possess a cooperative, can-do spirit, are organized, and has the ability to successfully multi-task. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong editing and proofreading skills, are a must. Candidate should possess knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree.
