Donorly is currently seeking a full-time Operations Manager to join our growing team in support of our nonprofit clients. The ideal candidate is a generalist who has two to three years of administrative experience, demonstrates strong communication skills, and can successfully multi-task. Experience working in the nonprofit sector is a plus.
Donorly is a dynamic, growing consulting firm that works with nonprofit organizations to create and implement strategies that expand fundraising capacity. We focus on serving small and midsized nonprofits–both startups and established organizations–to access the resources that allow them to realize their mission, serve their clients, and make change in the world.
Services include campaign counsel, donor research, interim staffing, design and implementation of fundraising strategy, and board development.
- Track client and client prospect interactions and maintain project-management tools
- Support Donorly team on execution of communication and marketing plan
- Manage the database
- Provide staff support as needed on all client projects
- Provide general office management
- Manage and/or support event planning and execution
- Special projects as assigned
BACKGROUND, PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS
The ideal candidate possesses a cooperative can-do spirit, is customer-service oriented, and is a collaborative team player. Candidates should possess the ability to utilize strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, including strong editing and proofreading abilities. Candidate should possess knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, database management. Experience with a client email service such as MailChimp and a familiarity with social media platforms is a plus.
Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree. Experience in the nonprofit sector a plus. The position is based in New York City.
